UDP Campaign in NW:

Lawan Bako Urges Voters to Dump Runaway MPs
The leader of the United Democratic Party, UDP has urged voters in the crisis-hit Northwest region not to listen to MPs, and Mayors who abandoned them to their fate at the time they needed them most and escaped to Yaoundé and other regions for safety.
Bochong El Hadj Lawan Bako was speaking over the weekend in Bamenda as he launched campaigns for the twin polls. Bako while vowing to flush out the CPDM in the Region in all areas they are competing in the region boasted his party provides the best alternative to the parties that have been in the Region.

He disclosed they have decided invest eight women and seven youth for the Legislative elections and other candidates from minority groups and called on voters to shun truant MPs who he said have eaten all the micro grants allocated by government to them for development of their areas.
Bako in another declaration considered by keen observers to have been directed to the SDF party urged voters to avoid MPs who go about dancing and clapping in Parliament without any thing to say on the needs of the people. He promised equity in opportunities, development, employment and above all to create jobs for the youth if elected.
