Gendarmes Intensify Search for Separatist Kingpin
Gendarmes are still searching for Suh George Ndeh, a suspected Ambazonia activist who reportedly escaped from custody in Yaounde on 9 August 2019.
Suh George was arrested and charged with rebellion against the state, insurrection, apology to terrorism, terrorism, secession, sponsoring terrorism among other felonious charges.
    It is yet unknown how Suh succeeded to jump from custody and disappeared into thin air.
    Sources close to his family confirmed that surprise security checks and searches have been carried out in his  family home in Bamenda.
    A warrant of arrest has been issued against him, our sources further hinted.

PHP Workers Suspend Strike Action
Workers of Plantation du Haut-Penja, PHP in Djombe-Penja Sub-division, Moungo Division in the Littoral region have supended their strike action after discussions with the administration and officials of the company. The workers took to the streets earlier this week to denounce what they considered abusive contract termination formalities. The strike action started with security workers who protested against a decision from the management of the Plantation to recruit a security company charge with recruitment that led to their sacking. The security workers were demanding at least FCFA 500 000 from company as their benefits for contract termination.
    Other workers of the company reportedly joined the fight in another protest. The protest met with stiff resistance from forces of law and order, who resorted to tear gas to disperse the angry workers. The PHP is a multi-national French company from Marseille, which has been functioning in Cameroon for decades under the approval of the Cameroonian government. It cultivates and exports banana. Workers of the company before the recent strike had complained about their salaries.

Students Attack, Wound Discipline Master
The Discipline Master of Government Bilingual High School, Bafoussam in the West region is currently recovering from treatment followings wounds sustained on campus after he was attacked by two students with a knife on Saturday 16 November 2019. He was immediately rushed to a nearby health centre where he is still receiving medical attention. The two students who are presently under custody are said to to have revealed the discipline master was attaching a lot of interest in their “affairs”.

Kidnapped Bamenda Radio Technician Freed

The kidnapped Chief technician and pidgin news broadcaster of Bamenda-based Radio Hot Cocoa, kidnapped last weekend has regained his freedom. Emmanuel Akum’s release was confirmed by the management of the local broadcasting station. He was released Wednesday 19 November 2019 under unclear circumstances, after spending close to 72 hours in the hands of his abductors who are believed to be separatist fighters. Akum was kidnapped Saturday 16 November on his way to his parents’ home in Mankon.
